*Covid 19 Policy update for all bookings placed after 1/9/2020 for any transfers taking place after 1/12/2020*

  • In the event that the Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) advise against all non essential travel to France, or in the event of a local shutdown of the 3 Valley Ski resort;
    • the transfer will be transferable to a different date or held as a credit note valid until the end of the following winter ski season.
    • The transfer will be refundable until 4 weeks prior to the date of the transfer. 50% refundable until 2 weeks prior to the date of the transfer.
  • When rebooking this would be subject to our availability.  If the transfer becomes more expensive extra charges may occur.  The transferrable transfer would be like for like.  If the transfer becomes cheaper if there is a change in numbers/ airport or accommodation destination, there would be no refund on the original amount paid. 

  • At present under the French law face masks covering both the mouth and nose will need to be worn in the vehicles for all passengers aged 11 and over.  Each vehicle will be cleaned thoroughly in between each transfer.  We require all passengers to clean their hands before entering the vehicle. Hand sanitiser will be available. Clients will need to load and unload their own luggage unless you have mobility problems in which case you will need to inform us prior to travel.

  • Drivers will not meet in the airport terminal to avoid any unnecessary contact and risk to the driver. A mobile phone number will be provided to use when collecting your luggage. The driver will then come to meet you.
  • Any cancellations made by the client before any decision on non essential travel would be subject to our original terms and conditions and the transfer would be non transferable and non refundable as set out in our standard terms and conditions which can be found here https://3valleyvans.com/en/terms/ or can be provided on request.

3 Valley Vans Terms and Conditions

3 Valley Vans offers a shared and private airport transfer service.

Shared Transfers

·      Shared transfers means sharing with other clients with flights arriving or departing within 90 minutes of the scheduled flight time unless otherwise specified.

·        On all shared transfers, there may be a prolonged wait if other passengers are late to arrive.

·     Upon departure you may be travelling with passengers flying up to 90 minutes before your scheduled departure time unless otherwise specified, which may increase your wait at the airport.

·        With all shared transfers there may be other pick up or drop offs on route to and from your destination. This may increase your journey time and you may need to leave earlier to accommodate the extra stops.

·     3 Valley Vans will do its best to accommodate late arrivals and flight delays wherever possible. Due to commitments to other clients it may be necessary for us to leave the airport before your arrival. We will make every effort to accommodate any late arrivals on the next available shared transfer, however this may mean an increased waiting time and may attract additional charges.

·        If there is not a shared service available then you, the client, must make alternative arrangements at your own cost.

·        Flight delay guarantee does not apply to shared transfers

Private Transfers

·        Private transfers give you, the client, sole use of the vehicle.

·        Private transfers have a flight delay guarantee;

o   Flight delay guarantee only applies to full price, private transfers.

o   3 Valley Vans must be informed of your delay as soon as possible.

o   Flight delay guarantee does not include flight cancellations which are rescheduled to a different date.

o   Flight delay guarantee does not include missed flights or connections.

o   Your driver will wait at the airport for a minimum of 90 minutes from your scheduled arrival time. After this time we reserve the right to schedule another transfer which may have a delay in reaching the airport.

o   If no private vehicles are available then a shared transfer will be provided. No refund will be provided.


In the event of a flight diversion and we are able to send a vehicle to the new arrival airport then extra charges will apply. If the new route has a higher transfer cost then the difference in cost will be charged. A charge of €20 per half hour (and any part half hour) for any extra driving time between airports/stations in addition to fuel and toll costs between the original airport and the new arrival airport. If we are unable accommodate the diversion then no refund will be provided for the original booking. Shared transfers can not be changed to a different airport due to flight diversions, a new private transfer must be paid for, subject to availability. In this instance we advise you to seek advice from your travel insurer.

Although we do not charge for luggage, 3 Valley Vans has an allowance of 2 standard items of luggage per person including standard ski and snowboard equipment.This includes 1 standard suitcase and 1 standard ski/snowboard case or hand luggage. If you have excess baggage then please contact us at time on booking. In the event you have excess baggage and have not informed 3 Valley Vans then we reserve the right not to transport the items. Coffin style bags or extra large ski/snowboard bags may not fit in the vehicles.

3 Valley Vans will take no responsibility for any luggage, items or personal belonging which are lost or damaged in transit. Your luggage must be clearly labelled with the owners name and address and holiday accommodation details. 

3 Valley Vans can not transport unaccompanied luggage under any circumstances.

Full accommodation details must be provided at the time of booking. 3 Valley Vans will not accept any responsibility for being unable to find the correct accommodation if incorrect details are provided.

3 Valley Vans will allow the client to collect keys on route to their accommodation, however 3 Valley Vans must be informed of this at the time of booking. Failure to do so may result in 3 Valley Vans being unable to wait for the client due to other commitments. Any delay of more than 15 minutes will result in additional charges being incurred of €10 per quarter of an hour or part thereof.

It is your responsibility to ensure that all the information provided at time of booking is correct. Please check your booking information carefully and if any changes need to be made then please inform 3 Valley Vans immediately.

For telephone and email bookings the client accepts 3 Valley Vans terms and conditions. A copy of the terms and conditions will be sent via post or email on request and it is the client’s responsibility to check the terms and conditions.

For all bookings a deposit of €200 is required to secure the booking, per vehicle. This is non-refundable in the event of cancelation by the client.

Any cancellation after full payment has been made and at least 4 weeks prior to the transfer date, the €200 is non-refundable. Any balance payment will be refunded with a €25 cancellation fee to cover banking and administration costs.

Any cancellation with less than 2 weeks to the date of the transfer, full payment is due and any payments received are non-refundable.

If the balance is due to be paid in cash, then this is due to be paid in full on arrival and prior to travel.

If the balance is due to be paid by credit/debit card, then this is due 2 weeks prior to travel. An invoice with a payment link will be sent 2 weeks prior to travel to the email address provided at time of booking.

Clients are required to provide a mobile phone number which will be switched on with international roaming enabled and sufficient battery life. If we are unable to contact any clients that are not at the meeting point, then 3 Valley Vans reserves the right to leave the airport. In this instance no refund will be given and the client may incur extra charges.

3 Valley Vans reserves the right to change any pick up times in resort. In the event of changing any pick up times 3 Valley Vans will contact the client on the mobile telephone number provided either by telephone call or sms. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they regularly check their phone. An sms will be sent approximately. 24 hours before departure.

3 Valley Vans schedules all transfers to arrive at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight. Any pick up times given at the time of booking are estimates and will be confirmed prior to your transfer. On your departure, we will set your pick up time according to expected traffic or weather conditions. This is to ensure you get to your destination on time. 3 Valley Vans reserves the right to refuse any change to the departure time requested by the client, if 3 Valley Vans agrees then 3 Valley Vans will not accept any responsibility.

Smoking and consumption of alcohol is strictly forbidden in any vehicle. Any mess made by food and drink spillage may incur extra charges for cleaning of the vehicle. 3 Valley Vans reserve the right to refuse travel to anyone they feel is under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/or who’s behaviour is a threat to the safety of the driver or other passengers, without refund.

3 Valley Vans will not accept any liability for missed flights, trains, transport or travel connections caused in the event of vehicle breakdown, accidents or deaths on the road which cause delays to the vehicle, vandalism, unforeseen traffic delays, exceptional and/or severe weather conditions, snow storms, avalanches. Industrial action by third parties, problems caused by other customers, the vehicle being held or delayed by a police officer or government official, other circumstances affecting passenger safety. Force Majeure (acts of god, war, civil unrest, terrorism etc). In the event of 3 Valley Vans being unable to transport clients to their destination on time or at all, 3 Valley Vans will not be held responsible for any losses or costs incurred. We advise clients to check the terms of their travel insurance.

Seat belts must be worn at all times by passengers with no exceptions. Child seats will be provided at no extra cost. It is the client’s responsibility to select the correct size child seat when making a booking. Children under 135cms must use a child/booster seat.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Any necessary price increase made after booking due to fuel increases or for any other reason will be made in writing by email. If the client chooses not to accept the price change they can cancel the transfer at no cost and will receive a full refund.

In case of accident, 3 Valley Vans liability is subject to the conditions of its insurance contract.

3 Valley Vans reserves the right to sub-contract any transfer to another company. 3 Valley Vans will only use companies who are fully licenced and insured for passenger transport in both France and Switzerland.
